At Optimax PDF, we treat your documents with uncompromising security. Because documents often contain sensitive academic, financial, or personal data, we built our platform on a Hybrid Privacy Architecture.
2. Local Browser Processing (100% Offline)
Tools that handle structural manipulation—such as Merge PDF, Split PDF, Rotate PDF, Sign PDF, Watermark PDF, and Image-to-PDF conversions—execute entirely inside your browser's local RAM using WebAssembly. Your files are never uploaded to any remote server during these operations.
3. Ephemeral Cloud Processing
Complex document operations requiring specialized server rendering (such as OCR, PDF to Word, Excel conversions, and File Compression) are transmitted securely via TLS encryption to our cloud backend. These files are stored in ephemeral memory strictly for the duration of the task and are permanently auto-deleted the exact millisecond processing completes. We maintain zero data retention.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We do not track you across other websites or sell your personal information. Standard analytical cookies may be used solely to monitor site performance and ensure service stability.
